Gender Neutral Nursery Design

Gender Neutral Nursery Design

I’m finally getting around to posting our nursery. #newmomlife

I wanted something that was gender neutral, something that wouldn’t persuade my kid into thinking he had to like baseball or find airplanes interesting. So we selected a jungle theme & it could easily work for a boy or a girl. I personally love how playful yet mellow it is.

Check out my concept board & finished photos. We ended up going with blackout roman shades & custom valences. Personally, I wish the roman shades were a tad more greige [they didn’t have my window size] than tan but sleep over aesthetics when it comes to newborns. I should’ve done the roman shades custom too but maybe we’ll upgrade on baby #2.

PS. The light above the changing table is a touch light with various dim settings, making those late night diaper changes and feedings much easier.
